A closing project meeting was held at IST, Lisbon, Portugal, October 16-18, 2019.
The IAEA conference:
International Symposium on Standards, Applications and Quality Assurance in Medical Radiation Dosimetry (IDOS 2019)
, included presentations and posters with key results from the RTnorm project. The conference was in Vienna, Austria, June 18-21, 2019.
At the
ESTRO-38 conference
in Milan, Italy, Sunday, April 28, 2019, RTnorm has helped organize a symposium entitled: "Reference and non-reference dosimetry - CoPs and beyond"
This session focused on TRS-398 and TRS-483. IAEA has established a project in order to update TRS-398 for MV beams as new developments have taken place (ICRU 90, FFF beams, new detectors, dosimetry for small fields). In this context, kQ results from the RTNORM project was shown. Furthermore, the fundamentals of the TRS-483 was explained. The current state of the art related to Appendix I of TRS-483 was outlined, including a review of available literature on kQ for FFF beams and the implications for reference dosimetry in the clinic. Additionally, reference dosimetry with A1SL ionization chamber in Helical Tomotherapy following TRS-483 concepts was discussed.

L. de Prez: Clinical application of kQ factors for reference dosimetry in flattening filter free (FFF) photon beams
A project meeting, restricted to project partners, was held at LNE, Paris, France, June 3-4, 2019.
A project meeting, restricted to project partners, was held at VSL, Delft, the Netherlands, October 17-18, 2018.
Presentations from the project were given at the

in Copenhagen, Denmark.
An invited keynote lecture with highlights from the project was given by Massimo Pinto at the
Japanese Society for Medical Physics (JSMP) and the Japanese Radiology Society
in Tokyo, Japan,
April 12-15, 2018.
Results from the project were presented ar the
ESTRO-37 conference
in Barcelona, Spain, April 20-24, 2018.
A project meeting, restricted to project partners, was held Paris, France, January 15-16, 2018. Here the status of the project was discussed.
Results from the project were presented at the
MCMA 2017 conference
in Napoli, Italy, October 15-18, 2017.
A project kick-off meeting, restricted to project partners, was held at ENEA Headquarters in central Rome, Italy, June 6-7, 2017.
